It's Carling Cup week and later today we'll face an Gunner side that Wenger has promised will be strong and looking to win. While avoiding relegation should still be the main priority of Chris Hughton and the lads, I'd still like to see us put a good foot forward in these Cup matches. My favorite two stories of the day are of Joey Barton playing the unlikely mentor to young and rambunctious Andy Carroll. (SkySports and JournalLive) And, Joey Barton calling on the team to play a tighter game and quit allowing that first goal and giving themselves a hill to climb.
The Boss himself also had some things to say to Andy about his recent shenanigans.
